Spain's largest ski area sits in the Val d'Aran, in the Catalan Pyrenees: Baqueira-Beret runs 114 trails and 36 lifts across a 3,608-foot vertical. It draws the Spanish royal family and much of Madrid's ski crowd every winter, with terrain parks for freestyle skiing alongside long cruisers off the high points. It's on the Indy Pass, giving international skiers an easy way to add a Pyrenees stop to their season.
