About Orcières Merlette 1850
Orcières Merlette 1850 is the largest ski area in the Champsaur valley of the Hautes-Alpes, sitting at the gates of Ecrins National Park at 1,850 meters. Twenty-six lifts, including three telemix combining chairlift and gondola technology, serve 61 trails across 100 km of marked runs up to 2,725 meters, with terrain skewing toward advanced skiers alongside family-friendly basics. The southern Alps location brings noticeably more sunshine than resorts further north, and a Famille Plus label reflects its kid-focused amenities. Orcières Merlette 1850 joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
