About Alta Ski Area
One of Utah's oldest ski areas, Alta opened its first lift back in 1939 and still runs 2,538 vertical feet across 118 trails and 8 lifts, with roughly 55% of the terrain rated advanced. It holds both Ikon and Mountain Collective access, sharing the Wasatch's Little Cottonwood Canyon with neighboring Snowbird.
