About Alpine Valley
Alpine Valley, in Munson Township near Chardon, Ohio, has run since 1965 and became a Vail Resorts property, and an Epic Pass destination, in 2019. Five lifts serve nine trails over 252 vertical feet and 72 acres, with terrain that includes Ohio's largest half-pipe. It draws Ohio's highest natural snowfall, around 120 inches a season, more than any other ski area in the state. It's a distinct property from the unrelated Alpine Valley in Wisconsin - same name, different state, no connection.
