Ikon Pass Bonus Mountains for 2026-27: All 11 Explained
November 2, 2026 · News
What a Bonus Mountain is
Alongside its big destination resorts, the Ikon Pass includes a short list of smaller hills called Bonus Mountains. Each one gives you 2 days of access per season on the full Ikon Pass. The Ikon Base Pass does not include them, so if you hold a Base Pass these are not part of your deal. They are a nice way to add a local night session or a weekend with the kids to a pass you already own.
For 2026-27 the list stands at 11 mountains.
The six returning from 2025-26
- Cranmore, North Conway, New Hampshire
- Butternut, Great Barrington, Massachusetts
- Jiminy Peak, Hancock, Massachusetts
- Buck Hill, Burnsville, Minnesota
- Wild Mountain, Taylors Falls, Minnesota
- Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, British Columbia
New for 2026-27
- Caberfae Peaks, Michigan
- Devil's Head Resort, Wisconsin
- Giants Ridge, Minnesota
- Snowy Range, Wyoming
- Tamarack Resort, Idaho
Tamarack is also still listed on the Indy Pass for now, although how that overlap will be handled is unclear, so check both passes before you plan a trip around it.
How to use them
Two days goes fast, so pick your days with care. Midwest and Northeast hills are at their best on weekdays and in the cold stretch of January and February, and the Ikon site shows each resort's rules for redeeming days. See the full Ikon pass page for every mountain on the pass, and the blackout dates guide for the Ikon Base Pass restrictions.
