About Washigatake Ski Resort
Washigatake sits in the Takasu mountains of Gujo, Gifu, one of central Japan's snowier ski pockets and just minutes from the Takasu interchange. It shares a lift network with neighboring White Pia Takasu, so its 13 trails and 6 lifts open onto a bigger connected mountain than the numbers alone suggest. Night skiing runs on winter weekends, and a 1,200-meter freestyle terrain park gives riders serious park terrain to work with. It's on the Indy Pass, an easy way to fold a lesser-known Gifu mountain into a bigger Japan ski trip.
