Snow Creek sits on the bluffs above the Missouri River in Weston, about forty minutes north of Kansas City, and is one of only two ski areas in the entire state. Its 300-foot vertical drop runs off a mix of chairlifts and rope tows, which keeps it firmly in beginner-and-family territory. It's on the Epic Pass via Vail Resorts, giving Kansas City skiers a rare local option before their next trip out west.
