About Rangeley Lakes Trails Center
At the base of Saddleback Mountain in western Maine, Rangeley Lakes Trails Center grooms 35 cross-country trails across about 400 feet of elevation change. No lifts here — it's a Nordic-only operation — but it's on the Indy Pass, giving alpine skiers a reason to bring skinny skis along on a Rangeley trip. The lake-and-mountain scenery makes it one of the more scenic Nordic centers in New England.
