About Carter's XC Ski Center
Carter's XC Ski Center is a family-run Nordic center on 1,000 acres of farm and forest in Bethel, Maine, with 55 km of trails groomed for classic and skate skiing along the Androscoggin River and up Farwell Mountain, offering views of Sunday River and the Mahoosucs. The center rents touring, skate, and backcountry gear plus snowshoes and fat bikes, and keeps three off-grid trailside cabins. Carter's joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
