Hopfgarten im Brixental sits directly beneath Hohe Salve, the 1,829-meter high point of the whole SkiWelt network, with the Salvenbahn cable cars running straight up from the village. It's the largest municipality in the Kitzbuhel district by land area, and its south-facing slopes get a reputation for sunny, carving-friendly snow. A kids' club at the valley station makes it a reasonable family base. Like the rest of SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, it's on the Indy Pass, giving access to the full shared network beyond just the local lifts.
