About Engstligenalp
Engstligenalp sits on a high alpine plateau above Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland, reached by a cable car that climbs to roughly 2,000 meters. The ski area is compact and family-oriented, with 11 trails and 9 lifts spread across gentle, sunny terrain framed by the Wildstrubel massif and the 600-meter Engstligen Falls. Skiing here favors beginners and families over big vertical, with a 1,312-foot drop and wide, uncrowded slopes. Night skiing and a terrain park round out the offering. Engstligenalp joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
