About BigRock Mountain
Way up in Mars Hill, in Maine's far-northern Aroostook County, BigRock runs four lifts over 26 trails and 980 vertical feet of skiing near the Canadian border. It's an Indy Pass member with a community-first mission — affordable turns for County families — and the lights stay on for night laps. A 2024 quad chairlift modernized the uphill side of an operation that has anchored winter in this potato-farming region since the 1960s.
