The Remarkables, outside Queenstown, is one of two NZSki mountains on both Ikon and Mountain Collective, alongside Coronet Peak. Its 385 hectares run across seven lifts and include the Burton Stash, one of only six such natural terrain parks in the world and the only one in the Southern Hemisphere. Views from the ridgeline take in the jagged range the ski field is named for. It's a favorite for Australians and Americans stacking Southern Hemisphere turns on a Northern Hemisphere pass.
