About Murray Ridge Ski Area
Murray Ridge is a community-run, nonprofit ski area outside Fort St. James in north-central British Columbia, roughly an hour from Prince George. Two lifts, including a T-bar reputed to be the longest in North America, serve 22 runs across 1,740 feet of vertical, with terrain split fairly evenly between beginner, intermediate and advanced, plus glades and a terrain park. Operated by the Fort St. James Ski Club since 1976, it is known locally as northern BC's best-kept secret for affordable, uncrowded alpine skiing. Murray Ridge joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
