About Middlebury Snow Bowl
Owned by Middlebury College and cut into Vermont's Green Mountains along Route 125, the Snow Bowl has been running since 1934, making it one of the state's oldest ski areas. A quad, two triples, and a surface lift serve 25 trails and 10 glades over 1,050 vertical feet, with snowmaking covering close to half the terrain. It's on the Indy Pass and the Uphill New England network, so skinners and Indy holders both have a way in. The collegiate ownership gives it a quieter, community feel than its bigger Vermont neighbors.
