Bear Peak tops out at 8,805 feet with roughly 1,665 feet of vertical, and the resort has real terrain-park pedigree: it built North America's first park (Outlaw, 1992) and hosted the inaugural Winter X Games in 1997. It's the closest real mountain skiing to Southern California.
